THIS IS A NEW TOURNAMENT!
This is a BPA sanctioned tournament that begins on October 15, 2003. Mark Herman and
Mike Welker are your game masters. Mark handles rules questions and the like.
Mike works on some administrative things.
Tournament Qualifications
- Must be a member
of
the BPA, Associate level or higher.
- Must have an email
account.
- Must have world
wide
web access (reason : ongoing tournament information will posted here)
- Must own a 'hard copy' of the game. Please note that this tournament will use rules version 2.6 posted by Mark Herman at
For The People Offical Website
- Must AREA rate the
game (players are responsible for posting results to the AREA
service).
Start Dates and Format:
- Players will be assigned to 4 player divisions. Each player will play one game against each other player in their division. The player with the best overall record will advance to a single elimination format set of rounds, number to be determined by the number of participants.
- Drop-in or
drop-out
at any time.
- Player's
records:
Each player scores 1 point for a win, 0 for a loss. A draw is counted as a Loss.
- Ties: any tied
record must be broken by playing a game.
- Scenarios: The
Campaign game, v2.6 rules, no optionals. Players are encouraged to use ACTS as the official vehicle for playing out games. Players can use other formats by mutual agreement.
Time limits: Each game will be allotted 120 days (players should commit to making one card play per day), although extensions may be granted due to interruption of the ACTS server or some other event beyond the control of the players.

Error Handling
- Player A makes an illegal move(s), attack(s), etc.
- Player B can accept the move as is without changes, or declining this, ...
- Player A must redo the entire move. Once additional cards have been played the error stands, so pay attention.
Rule disputes
- The GMs will rule on
rule disputes. The rules Guru is Mark Herman.
- There are
FAQs
but these are
incorporated into the new version of the Rules.
